Hailing from Northampton, Massachusetts, Indi Rock band Speedy Ortiz has three LPs The Death f Speedy Ortiz (2011), Major Arcana (2013), and Foil Deer (2015). The latest released on April 21, 2015. Variously described as “barbed-wire wordplay” (Pitchfork),”mischievous creation” (DIY Magazine), “lyrically dark and has the musical aggression to back it up” (NME), and “catchy, exhilarating and smart” (Uncut), Foil Deer looks to be worth a full listen or two in the summer music season!
