Telluris Corda, Hearts of the Earth is a solo exhibition featuring the work of artist Jaime Foster, a self taught painter and photographer, currently living just outside of Chicago. Foster’s work explores the spiritual connection humans have with the natural world. Through her love of Eco psychology, Conservation and Biodiversity, Foster’s paintings simultaneously resemble vast glacial landscapes and intricate microscopic patterns. Influenced by mountainsides, cell structures, flowing rapids and perplexing botany, Foster’s work embodies her deep emotional connection with nature.
