The 2023 iteration of Anime Central continued a solid introduction to all things Japan for those visiting this Midwest entertainment convention. Those seeking new trends from cinema to sound to literature to video gaming, one could locate samplings of each. In addition, throughout the various locations at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, Japanese cuisine, yoga demonstrations, anime and manga cosplayers, mountains of literature, and a wide range of handmade artworks created by local to international creators were offered up. Here’s a quick overview of the event with snaps made during the 3-day event.
