About the artist: Sometimes starkly real, and other times other-worldly, Jennifer Cronin’s style of captivating realism pulls the viewer into the world of her paintings and drawings. From exploring inner psychology to highlighting income inequality, Cronin is constantly working to explore what it means to be human. Most recently, Cronin embarked on a trip the remote Native Alaskan village of Newtok, where she documented the effects of climate change. She is currently in the process of developing a new series of work about this trip and our changing planet.
