Nikka Gonzales Thesis Statement
In an effort to display my passion for design, illustration and printmaking, I created illustrations of my professors, and I screen printed them onto t-shirts. I used these subjects as a way to memorialize the time and memories I spent in college. The illustrations display an anaglyph effect that maintains the aspect of design in the shirt. The t-shirts display playful humor from its subjects being depicted as caricatures as well as its concept of being displayed in the same space as the original three-dimensional subjects in person.
