This series of images shows the subtle and prominent changes that have shaped the landscape of downtown Joliet, Illinois over the years. The title is a tribute to the book used to complete this project by Robert E. Sterling entitled Then and Now. The old images from this book are melded with contemporary images taken at the same location.
