WCSF 88.7’s featured artist of the week for 6/17/15: The Hecks
Thumbing through music is a constant. There’s a parallel sense of memory and timelessness. One of the truw pleasures is running across a tune like Trust and Order. Released in 7″ on Moniker Records in 2013, the sound is complex, melodic and trance-inducing. Recently, I caught The Hecks at Chicago’s Empty Bottle. There is a buzz on when the duo will release a full LP. Please soon!
